Gorgeous family cottage on a private sand beach

View of beach and lakeNestled among birch trees on beautiful Peninsula Lake, this classic Muskoka cottage offers an idyllic setting to experience the natural beauty of a Muskoka summer. The exceptional private sandy beach boasts a gentle incline and weed-free sandy bottom, perfect for wading and swimming. Swim to the raft in the deeper water for diving. The Springsyde shore of Peninsula (Pen) Lake includes a private shoreline path for cottagers only so you can stroll along the shore. 

 

Enjoy outdoor dining in the screen porch, relaxing in Muskoka chairs on the large deck or watching the sunset from the private dock or lying in the hammock at the lake. There’s a 3 piece indoor bathroom in the cottage but you’ll love the experience of the outdoor shower and bathroom in the midst of trees. See a breakdown of bedrooms and bathrooms here.

 

The 3 bedroom cottage is knotty pine and hardwood floors throughout. A separate sleeping cabin with two hide-a-bed couches is ideal as a quiet office or for kids or guests. The living room features large picture windows and a beautiful stone fireplace. Tap water is drinkable from a well and a UV filter. ll amenities are included: Wifi, satellite TV, stereo, barbeque, dishwasher, laundry room and a generator. There’s an extra fridge with freezer in the storage shed.

 

A new canoe with paddles and life jackets is included. The drive to Lake of Bays is only 2 minutes, 15 minutes to Huntsville and half an hour to trails in Algonquin Park, Limberlost, or Arrowhead Parks. You can travel by boat to Deerhurst, Hidden Valley or through Fairy Lake to Huntsville and on to Lake Vernon or down to Mary Lake. See a full list of nearby activities here
